Scandalous Grace – Undeserved

Grace can only be experienced in the ?context of a relationship where there is ?an imbalance. We as humans are on ?the negative side of that ledger.

This is what makes Christianity so ?unique. This is what make the story ?and the narrative of Christianity, and ?the arc of the story of Christianity,

so unique and so attractive.

Grace is 100% relational, and you ?can’t experience or understand grace ?apart from a relationship.

This is why God has to show up.

Is Church Essential

We have a guest speaker, Joel Thomas from North Point Church in Atlanta, Georgia.

The church is God’s agent of ?transformation personally, culturally ?and globally.

Be Rich | Part 3 – Love

This talk focuses on a central message: ?Love God, love your neighbor, and ?challenges us to be generous and serve ?in our community. The talk explores the ?concept of vertical morality (rules) and ?horizontal morality (loving others).

Loving God and others means living like ?Jesus did, valuing every person. The goal ?is for others to be better off from their ?interactions with us. Practical ways to ?love well: prioritize people over projects, ?be a great friend, invest in self-identity, ?build trust, and be curious, not ?judgmental. Done consistently, we will ?see transformation in our lives and ?relationships. The talk lands by ?reminding us that Jesus values people ?over projects.

Be Rich | Part 2 – Serve

The truth is, people don’t often ?remember what we say, but they do ?remember how we make them feel, and if ?we want people to feel valued, cared for, ?appreciated, included, and loved, then we ?need to serve them well. How you serve ?them is just as important as that you ?serve them, and serving them well means ?serving them gladly, excellently, lovingly, ?and surprisingly.

Be Rich | Part 1 – Give

Be Rich was started with one goal: To ?partner with exceptional nonprofits who ?were already making a difference and ?multiply their efforts. This unleashed a ?wave of generosity, inspiring people to ?be generous in response to God’s ?extravagant generosity towards them.
