5 WAYS YOU CAN GROW WITH US!
Being engaged in church is about more than just attending weekend services. We want to be a church unchurched people love to attend. In order to be that kind of church, we need the help of people who share our passion for leading people into to become wholehearted followers of Jesus Christ. If you share that passion, the next step for you is to get fully engaged in the life of the church by doing these five things:
THE 8-WEEK CHALLENGE
Try Us for 8 week straight! Maybe it’s hard to tell if THE ROCKS is for you by attending only one weekend gathering. So we want to issue a challenge to you: come each week for 8 weeks. If you don’t grow in your daily and spiritual life, maybe we’re not the church for you; but if you see a change no matter how small, then keep coming because that’s just the beginning of all God has for you!
NEXT Welcome Dinner is an obligation-free, informal gathering over light food and drink for any new guest at The Rocks. It takes place 5 times a year on a Sunday evening and is hosted at The Rocks by staff members and volunteers. We provide an overview of the mission, vision, strategy, and opportunities for connection at The Rocks and a chance for you to ask any questions you may have about what we do here. This is the perfect place for us to get to know you better and for you to find out about the right NEXT step for you to get involved at The Rocks.
Small Groups are approximately six married couples or eight to twelve individuals that meet weekly in someone’s home for sharing, study, discussion, and prayer. They’re for adults of all ages, stages of life, and spiritual maturity.
We believe that significant life change best takes place in the context of intentional relationships. Small Groups are the places where real life and real issues are discussed. This is the environment to celebrate the successes and good times of life, as well as comfort one another in the tough and disappointing times. It’s a place to be encouraged, equipped, and challenged to grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ. That’s why we encourage everyone to participate in a Small Group.
