What is The Rocks Celebrate Christmas?

This Christmas, we’re celebrating the God who didn’t stay distant — but chose to dwell with us.
“The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us.” – John 1:14

TRCC is more than a Christmas event — it’s a space where heaven touches home. And this year, our theme is DWELL.
Through stunning visuals, powerful music, storytelling, and creativity, you’ll encounter the timeless story of Jesus in a fresh, contemporary way.

What You Can Expect?
  • A beautifully produced one-hour program suitable for all ages.
  • Live music, spoken word, and storytelling that capture the wonder of Christmas.
  • A warm, welcoming environment — whether you’ve been to church before or not.

Why We Do It
Every December, The Rocks Celebrate Christmas brings our whole community together to share a message of hope, love, and belonging. It’s our church’s way of saying: you matter, and you’re welcome here. We believe Christmas isn’t just a tradition — it’s a personal invitation. God came near, not because we are perfect, but because we are loved. No matter your story, your background, or your questions — there’s a place for you at TRCC 2025.

What You’ll Take Away
Our prayer is that you’ll leave feeling:
  • Seen and known — reminded that God is closer than you think.
  • Encouraged and inspired — hope is still possible, even in the hard seasons.
  • Connected — to community, to faith, and maybe to something new.

Home isn’t something you find — it’s Someone who finds you.

FAQs

Here's some frequently asked questions about The Rocks Celebrate Christmas:
Where do I park?
We have limited parking available on our lawn and we also have access to the CommuniCare parking just next door. If these two are full, you are more than welcome to park across the street at Carousel, which is free for under 2 hours (4 hours, if you get the Westfield App!)
Is this kid friendly?
Yes! We've created TRCC to be a family experience! All children are welcome to sit with you in the auditorium. Since children will be sitting in with us, there are no Next Gen facilities available. However, we do have our Parents Room available, along with our Overflow Room that is created for parents with prams and babies.
How many tickets can I book?
As many as you want! Book a ticket for every person who will sit in the auditorium. Every person must hold their own ticket, including children.
Do I have to be Christian to attend TRCC?
Nope! Our heart is that everyone from all backgrounds and associations can come and experience our Christmas celebration together.
How much are tickets?
They are 100% free!  Wait, what? Really? YES! We want this to be an event that everyone can come to, and we don't want finances to get in the way.
Will there be photos being taken of the event?
Yes. The Rocks will be photographing and filming this event for potential use in future marketing. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please notify The Rocks Staff. By entering this event you are giving us your consent to film your picture, voice and or statements.
What time should I arrive?
Doors open 30 minutes before each session. We recommend arriving early to grab good seats, enjoy the photo booths, and soak up the pre-show atmosphere.
How long is the show?
Each gathering runs for about 75 minutes. You’ll enjoy live music, storytelling, and a message of hope — all wrapped up in a creative and meaningful Christmas production.
What should I wear?
Come as you are! Whether you dress festive, casual, or in your Sunday best, you’ll fit right in.
Will there be food or coffee?
You bet! Our wonderful friends at KYND Coffee Co will be open before and after each gathering with coffee, other beverages and an array of food available for purchase — it’s a great spot to hang out with friends and family.
What if I have accessibility needs?
We’re here to help. Accessible seating and facilities are available at every gathering — just let our team know when you arrive, or email info@therocks.church ahead of time.
Will the event be livestreamed?
Our Christmas experience is best enjoyed in person, but highlights will be available later on our YouTube channel and social media.
Is this a religious service?
It’s more like a creative storytelling experience that brings the meaning of Christmas to life.

There’ll be music, art, and a short message that shares the story of Jesus in a way that’s relatable and hope-filled — no pressure, no preaching “at” you.
How can I get involved or serve?
We’d love that! Many of our volunteers say TRCC is the highlight of their year.

Are seats assigned?
No, seats are not assigned. It doesn't matter whether you book separately or in a group, all seats are are first come first serve. To get the best seats, just arrive early (ideally 30 minutes before) to choose a seat that will suit you. We recommend you come early as the closer it gets to the start of each show, you'll struggle to find a seat!
