OUR THAILAND GLOBAL(X) PARTNERS

Make a Difference, Share Jesus' love and allow God to shape you to become more like Him

BEULAH LAND SERVICES

Beulah Land Services (BLS) is a Christian non-profit organisation dedicated to eradicating leprosy in Thailand and providing care and dignity for leprosy patients and their families. BLS operates multiple leprosy colonies throughout Thailand, and The Rocks Church has proudly partnered with them since 2008. This year, we are excited to join their Youth Work Camp from August 10-12, located in Pud-hong Village in Nakorn-Srithammarat, South Thailand. We will stay in a local church in the centre of a leprosy colony, interacting with local children and residents.

Our Hands-On Projects Include:
  • Build Toilet: Construct a brand-new toilet room.
  • Renovate Toilet: Upgrade an existing toilet room.
  • Ceramic Tiling: Lay ceramic tiles around the church (68 square metres).
  • Painting: Refresh the multi-purpose building with a new coat of paint.
  • Gardening & Cleaning: Beautify the church front with plants and thorough cleaning.
  • Patient Ward Cleaning: Ensure a clean and safe environment around the patient ward.
  • Community Centre Cleaning: Clean the community centre area.
This could be a life-changing experience for all of us!

NIGHTLIGHT MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL

Nightlight Ministries is an international organisation compelled by love to reach out to, rescue, and restore all those who are negatively impacted by sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation. On Tuesday, August 14th, we will have a day activity with Nightlight in the Red District area of Thailand: NANA. You can watch a video introduction here. Irene from Nightlight will introduce us to their ministry in Bangkok.

Our Activities Might Include:
  • Worship Experience: Join in a worship experience with the ladies.
  • Visit to Citylight Cafe: Visit Citylight Cafe in Nana Red District, where Nightlight employs ex-prostitutes and empowers them to start anew. There will be an opportunity to purchase merchandise (T-shirts, jewellery) made by these ladies to support them.

This promises to be a meaningful and impactful day for all involved.

"I was deeply touched by the love and joy of the Thai people. Despite their challenging living conditions, their faith and gratitude were overwhelming. This trip taught us that material things don’t matter; true joy comes from faith in God"

- Ivan (Joined Global(x) journey in 2017

This mission trip to Thai changed my life in ways I never expected. The children's sweet smiles and the friendships we formed created lifelong memories. It was more than just about the work; it was about connecting with people and seeing God’s love in action

- Shirley (joined the trip in 2015)

"Expect great things from God; attempt great things for God."
