Next Generation environments

9:00 and 11:00AM

Children from Walkers to 5 years old will experience time to play, sing songs and listen to a Bible story. We want your children to know that God made them, God loves them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever! Children with special needs are welcome. Our team will help you register and check-in when you arrive.

UpStreet is where kids build faith and friendships that last.

We’re here to help your primary-aged children grow in their faith and build a strong foundation for life. Each Sunday, they’ll enjoy exciting games, high-energy music, engaging stories, and meaningful time in small groups.

At UpStreet, we focus on three simple but powerful truths:
  1. I can trust God no matter what
  2. I need to make the wise choice
  3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated

We believe every child is uniquely made and deeply loved by God—including those with additional needs. Our team is here to support your family every step of the way, including check-in and registration when you arrive.

9:00 and 11:00AM

Transit is a dynamic weekly gathering designed specifically for students in year 6 to 7. Each week, students kick things off in the auditorium, joining the larger church family for an engaging time of worship. From there, they transition into small groups—a space where they can connect with peers, share their experiences, ask honest questions about faith, and tackle the unique challenges of middle school.

Through these small group conversations, students begin to explore and build a faith that’s personal, meaningful, and all their own.

MIDWEEK ENVIRONMENTS

Friday nights during the school term, from 6:30 to 9:00pm

At The Rocks Youth (TRY), we believe your teen is at a crucial age where they need a consistent, caring older adult-figure in their life who lead with love, and remind them they’re not alone. We’re committed to walking with your teen— not just on Friday nights, but throughout the week— checking up on them and helping them grow in a real relationship with Jesus.

Each term, we run a mix of Youth Nights and Small Groups. Youth Nights bring all students together for games, hangs, worship, and a message of hope, while Small Groups are where life change happens: smaller circles of students led by a young adult leader, designed for friendship, support, and spiritual growth.

Wednesday nights, from 6:30 to 9:00pm

Your twenties are full of transitions and questions, which is why we created The Rocks Young Adults (TRYA). TRYA is a place to help you find genuine community, experience authentic worship, and grow your faith in Jesus.

TRYA gathers on most Wednesdays in late February to early December from 6:30 p.m. at The Rocks Cannington, and also meets in small groups around the city to help you stay connected.

GENERAL QUESTIONS

What time should I arrive?
Our Sunday gatherings are at 9AM and 11AM, so we recommend you arrive at least 15 minutes before a gathering. Feel free to grab a drink first at our neighbour, KYND Coffee!

If you have kids, our Next Generation environments also open checkin 15 minutes prior to each gathering time, so make sure you come early enough to ensure ample time to register them at check-in!
How will I know where to go?
Our team members are available at every turn, so just look for someone with a FOR PERTH T-shirt and/or a nametag lanyard. They're here to help!
Where do I park?
We know traffic is no fun. When you arrive on our premises, you will find our parking hosts available to guide you if you're unsure where to go!

We have parking spaces available on our front and side lawns, as well as access to Communicare parking just next door.

We recommend arriving 15 minutes before the gathering begins to make sure you have enough time.
Is there a dress code?
OUR DRESS CODE IS BLACK TIE OPTIONAL.

Just kidding.

We’re more concerned with people’s hearts than what they are wearing. Feel free to wear what you want, whether that’s a suit or shorts.
Do I need to register my family?
If you have children between Walkers to Year 7, we have environments just for them, which they will need to be checked in to for safety purposes. Simply head in to the checkin station by the stairs in our foyer, and our team will be there ready to help!

At your first visit, we will need you to fill out some basic information about you and your child, such as contact details and any allergies or special needs that we need to be aware of to care for your child the best we can during their time with us. This may take a few minutes, so please come 15 minutes prior to the gathering start to ensure that you have enough time to do so!
How do I get more connected at The Rocks?
We have many ways for you to find your place here. Our desire is for everyone who attends to find lasting community here. Welcome to Church is a great opportunity to discover the heartbeat of who we are!

We also have small groups, where 8-12 adults in the same stage of life and area of town meet regularly to pursue spiritual growth and healthy relationships, sharing life and faith together.
Do you provide a sign language interpreter for hearing impaired guests?
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a sign language interpreter for our hearing impaired guests at this time.
Can I bring a stroller or wheelchair?
Yes! We have designated seats in our auditorium for those with a wheelchair or stroller.

We also have Parents' Room available for those with young children who might want a more private and quieter space. Located just adjacent to our auditorium space, amenities like a microwave are available should you need to warm up a bottle or meal for your child, as well as a playmat and a curtained breastfeeding area. You will still be able to watch and hear the gathering from this room!

If you would like to utilise the Parents Room, please let any of our friendly hosts know at the auditorium entrance.
